How does one prepare to leave home and move to a developing nation for 27 months? 

I've done a great deal of thinking...Is this still what I want to do for the next 2+ years of my life?...Am I cut out to live without reliable access to running water and cooling systems?  With a resounding "YES!" as the answer.

I also did a lot of reading...I mean a lot.  Below are the books, blogs, and websites I visited while wrapping my mind around moving thousands of miles away from family and friends.  This doesn't even include all the materials sent from the Peace Corps.

Am I ready?  I don't know that anyone ever feels 100% ready for such a decision, but I feel good about it.  :-)
