Mental Health Club Competes

Today we journeyed to Walewale for the Mental Health Club to compete in a quiz competition hosted by Basic Needs Ghana and UKaid. Our non-competing members are in the blue uniforms.

The 'stage' and a number of spectators as classes were cancelled so everyone could attend the event.

The girls placed 2nd out of five schools. Their prizes include shirts, 50 exercise books, a clock, and 5 new textbooks (2 English, 2 Integrated Science, and 1 Core Maths). They may also get to travel to Accra to compete at the national level; we are waiting to hear how their score compared to the others in the region to make that determination.
