I recently announced to all of my students an art contest that is being hosted by a Peace Corps Ghana committee; the theme is "What I want to be when I grow up." Over twenty students are eager to participate! One such student has already submitted her entry, sandals she made from fabric, thread, cardboard, and glue; as you might have guess, she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. So impressed by the creativity!
